Weinberg & Schwartz, L.L.C strives to educate its clients regarding their individual rights under Maryland law. The attorneys and staff are experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of Maryland family law.

The firm works with professionals with expertise in many areas, including accounting, mental health, business valuation and vocational assessment to obtain the optimum results for each client. Weinberg & Schwartz’s commitment to obtain a favorable outcome for the client, without losing sight of the best interest of the family, has earned the firm a well-respected reputation throughout the state.

Since 1995, Weinberg & Schwartz has worked diligently to maintain current knowledge of developments and changes in Maryland law. The attorneys are active in the legal and local community and also participate in state wide legal and professional associations and activities. The practice has grown over the years from client, attorney and professional referrals.

Weinberg & Schwartz’s philosophy is to obtain an equitable and fair resolution for each client’s individual issues and concerns, while keeping the interest of the family as the focal point.

Weinberg & Schwartz’s objective is to assist each client through a difficult life experience with a goal towards the most optimal form of resolution, either through settlement negotiation, litigation, mediation or collaborative divorce.

Because of Weinberg & Schwartz’s family-centered approach, many of the firm’s cases settle. We offer mediation services to couples looking to resolve issues outside of Court.  Also, collaborative law is another option to stay out of the court process.  This avoids the necessity of protracted and costly litigation. However, when litigation is appropriate, the highly-experienced trial attorneys at Weinberg & Schwartz take all necessary steps to ensure that each client’s case is fully prepared and presented in an aggressive and thorough manner.

The client’s desires and goals are Weinberg & Schwartz’s first priority.
