Rachel I. Margolis, Attorney
Rachel I. Margolis graduated from the University of South Carolina with her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship Management with a Leadership Distinction in Professional and Civic Engagement. While in college, in addition to her studies, Rachel served as a Guardian Ad Litem for a child in the foster care system in Richland County, South Carolina.
Rachel received her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she was a Rose Zetzer Fellow, a member of the Maryland Journal of International Law, and, during her second year, the President of the Students Supporting the Women’s Law Center (Maryland chapter). While in law school, Rachel focused her out-of-classroom legal experiences in family law and was student attorney in the Maryland Carey Law Gender Violence Clinic for four semesters where she primarily worked on a modification of custody matter. After graduating from law school, and prior to joining Weiberg & Schwartz, L.L.C., Rachel served as a law clerk for Family Magistrate Hope Tipton in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
